Tara Reid, who began making commercials as a child, made headlines with the premiere of Saved by the Bell: The New Class. She has performed her roles effortlessly, in spite of the scrutiny. Her breakthrough came in The Big Lebowski as Bunny. This film marked a significant step in her career. The actress began to receive better offers for films like Urban Legend, Cruel Intentions as well as other similar films. American Pie was the cult movie about teens who are sexually active with Reid's performance as Vicky made her a star in Hollywood. None of it led to a hugely successful Hollywood career. Reid had several misfires with films that failed, like Josie and the Pussycats. An appearance in American Pie 2 did nothing help her resurrect her career. Reid is more famous as a party or designer goer rather than an actor due to her offscreen mishaps, a flimsy and widely-publicized plastic surgery and numerous blink-and-miss appearances.
